I bought a Lomo Diana+ before easter and I fell in love with it!
Its so simple to use and just lets you experiment without the restrictions of having to make the perfect photo. And after a tough term of trying to take photos, I started having fun taking photos.
Through this i decided to use this beautiful new camera for my easter project.
Based on nostalgia i took images of the north sea shore in the flemish little village of Duinbergen in Belgium, starting Brugge.
I am becoming more and more interested in how photography can be used as a form of art therapy. And in a way for me this project was not only nostalgic of what the sea is for me but also theraputic, which gave me sanity after the craziness and continuous fustration of winter in London.
ps. For some reason wordpress cannot support the colour balance for the medium format images. So I apologise for the flat colours presented.
